Gamarada is official match ball of Olympic Games 2000
Gamarada it's name of official match ball of Summer Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney.
The Adidas Gamarada has similar style as Terrestra Silverstream, official match ball of the Euro 2000. It was the fourth Equipment ball after Tricolore, Icon and Terrestra Silverstream. Adidas rated the balls is softer, faster and more durable.
The Gamarada ball has synthetic foam, extra layer of very compressible gas-filled micro-balloons with the same size which returns energy in equal measures in all places. This gives to ball greater rebound feature. A large number of separate cells of air collected in a polyurethane matrix also make it more persistence ball.
The design of the Gamarada mirror the colors of the Australian outback. The name of the ball got from the Language of the aborigines, and means "friend".
